A very traditional house for a very modern client! The client has worked abroad in tropical countries and was always thoughtful about our vernacular design which evolved through solving all climate issues. Hence, we didn’t have a second thought on how to design this house, and the result came out as a wonderful traditional Kerala Nalukettu (courtyard house).

The house revolves around a courtyard and the living space has a double height; Generous lengths of verandah adorn this house aligning principles with our traditional architecture.
